Kernel Coopers Corn Maze Announces Coloring Contest Winner and Relay for Life Day – Saturday 10/8/11
Congratulations to Courtney West (Age 10) of Middle Point OH. Courtney is a student at Lincolnview Local Schools and has been selected as the overall winner of the recent coloring contest for Kernel Coopers Corn Maze.
Courtney will receive some free passes to the 2011 maze as well as some “coloring” type prizes so that she can create even more masterpieces!
Other winners of different age groups were: Dylan Rager (Age 8 ) of Van Wert (Franklin Elementary) and Kellin Putman (Age 5) of Van Wert (Crestview Elementary). Dylan and Kellin will also receive some free passes to the 2011 maze.
Thank you to all of the area children who submitted coloring pages and also to Van Wert’s Wal-Mart for collecting the pages!
Kernel Coopers Corn Maze will be holding a “Relay for Life Day” this coming Saturday 10/8/11 from 1pm to Midnight. Roast Pork and BBQ Beef sandwiches will be sold along with hot dogs and nachos/cheese. All profits from these food sales will go to Van Wert County Relay for Life.
You can also help us shoot down cancer – with our corn cannon! 3 shots for a dollar…. 25 cents automatically goes to Relay for Life and each time you hit the target, we give another 25 cents! If you shoot the corn through the hole in the ribbon target, your entire $1.00 goes to Relay for Life!
